Bike Fed Launches Radio PSAs

The Bike Fed has recently produced a series of new radio public service announcements (PSAs). These PSAs not only review some important rules of the road, they also simply encourage people to get out and ride. Take a listen:

These PSA will begin airing today as a result of our new partnership with Fox Cities radio stations WKSZ and WCHK. These stations serve the Greater Appleton and Green Bay markets. Thank you WKSZ and WCHK for your support of Wisconsin bicycling.

We are also looking for other media partners who are willing to air these important messages. Please shoot me an e-mail if you know of radio stations in your part of the state who would be interested in running these PSAs.

Ride On.

  1. Sorry about that.

My e-mail is: kevin.hardman at WisconsinBikeFed dot org.

I’m using this cryptic format to stay clear of spammers.

  2. I want to commend the Bike Fed and Wheel & Sprocket for the terrific billboards that recently went up on eastbound 94 (near downtown Milw). Both billboards display the “3-foot” message.

Messaging is timely and on-target and in a high-visibility location. Perfect.

As a regular bicycle commuter into the city (from Brookfield area), I want to know that car drivers are getting the message, and maybe encouraging some to park it and get on a bike.

One last comment… the Hank Aaron Trail to Milwaukee (from around 124th Street) is terrific.

    Thanks for your efforts,

    Walker
